Our team consists of a group of dedicated individuals, all with unique backgrounds seeking to work alongside you in removing barriers and building techniques for overcoming relapses or breakthroughs if they were to occur. Our team provides a safe space for building a community and establishing relationships while treating you as the client with dignity and respect.

Natoma Dearing RC (Peer Recovery Coach)

Natoma Dearing has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Everest College of Aurora. She made the distinguished dean’s list in 3 out of 4 semesters. She has also received the Peer Recovery Coach Certificate from the CCAR. She has over thirteen years of experience working as a Detox Counselor and Detox Technician before working as a Peer Recovery Coach. She is hard working, compassionate, and goes above and beyond her duties.

Hayden Gharibyar PharmD RC (Executive Director of Peer Coaching)

Hayden Gharibyar graduated from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and Bachelors in Science from the University of Colorado at Denver. He has had a long-distinguished career working in the pharmaceutical industry in medical information, drug safety, and research. He has multiple publications, given many lectures and seminars, and trains and teaches 4th year pharmacy students as a Preceptor for the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has multiple certificates in drug information including as a Peer Recovery Coach from Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR).

Melvin T. Grier (Clinical Supervisor)

Melvin (Mel) Grier, a License Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol /Drug Counselor. He earned his Master’s Degree at the University of Denver in both Social Work and Public Administration. He has over 43 years of experience working with young adult men and women, and senior citizens who struggle with the difficulties and pains of living. He has worked with aging issues, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, Individual, couples and Marital issues. His approach is to help the individual or couple in identifying their strengths and develop a specific treatment plan to meet the specific need of the client and accomplish their goals. He assists clients in exploring relationships among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to aid in discovering self-defeating thought patterns leading to and self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. Just a little about me; I am married, have 2 dogs, and no cats, originally from New York and I have lived in Colorado Springs for over 65 years.
